Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Spurs have been interested in a loan move. treat for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, but insisted a concrete move was never close.
The French forward was frozen out by PSG manager Luis Enrique at the end of last season. When it became clear that his immediate future would be outside of Paris, Kolo Muani was heavily linked with Manchester United and Tottenham.
However, Juventus seem to have won the race for the versatile forward, who will announce his loan deal imminently.
When Postecoglou was told the striker’s loss was a big loss, the Australian manager’s response was a resounding “No”.

“It’s tricky as all the clubs are meeting and I guess it traditionally ramps up this last week, so we approach all the clubs,” explained the manager.
“The club are working hard as they can and that’s all you can ask for. January is not an easy month but I know a lot of work is being done behind the scenes to try and get some reinforcements.
“It’s not frustration. It would be frustration and disappointment if the club weren’t working hard, but they are. It’s an easy word to say, but I know how hard the club has been working behind the scenes to get something done, but it’s not. it’s easy
