“It’s fair to say the boys are pretty tired, the ones doing a shift,” admitted Postecoglou. “Apart from Sonny everyone is fine and Sonny I don’t think is too bad. He wants to train (Saturday) and we’ll see how he goes and make a decision from there.
“We have another day up our sleeves to give him every chance.”
With Wilson Odobert and Richarlison, both confirmed absentees, spurs There are hardly many options in terms of options, but Postecoglou dismissed claims that 17-year-old Mikey Moore is not ready to contribute.
“No, I wouldn’t say that,” Postecoglou stressed. “Yeah, we’ll see with Sonny. Obviously, with Wilson out, we’re a bit limited and with Richy out because Richy can play there as well.
“We’re a bit limited, but Timo (Werner) and Mikey can certainly get into the frame. We’ve got Deki Kulusevski who can play a lot as well, so we’ve got some options there, but we’ll see how Sonny is first.”
