Joseph Parker’s coach, Andy Lee, tried to create self-doubt in Daniel Dubois’s mind before the title defense of his IBF heavyweight belt in their co-fight on February 22 in Riad.
Lee reminded Dubois (22-2, 21 COs) that in the ninth round of their fight two years ago on August 26, 2023, he was stopped by a stitch of Oleksandr utility. Andy feels that if dubois is stopped once that way, he will “back to typing” when placed in the same high-pressure situation against Parker (35-3, 23 COs).
Dubois did not explain why he went off a stitch against USkyk and could not get up. Daniel could only blend By saying that former middleweight champion Lee may have stopped under those circumstances during his career, but he won’t.
