Andre Onana would seem to have made too many mistakes as a Man United goalkeeper, with the club now looking for viable alternatives.

It’s been awful Premier League season for Man Unitedwith Ruben Amorim also struggling to achieve any kind of immediate success at the club.

A number of players brought into the Old Trafford squad by former manager Erik ten Hag have been shown to fall short of the required standards, and that includes the £47.2m custodian (Sky Sports) of Inter.

Andre Onana could soon be under real pressure at Man United

Although Andrew Onan seemed to be well regarded at the Neroazzurri, the goalkeeper’s reputation has been battered during his time at the Theater of Dreams.

He does little allowed a corner to go straight into the netjust days after United’s second-choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir did the same.

Links suggesting this have also appeared Onana is a target for Saudi Premier League clubs now, and that may or may not be a route the 28-year-old decides to take.

One thing is clear, though, and that is that Man United appear to be looking for a replacement.

according to The Times (subscription required), the club are looking for Belgian under-21 international custodian Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.

Senne Lammens could be the man to dislodge error-prone Andre Onana

Lammens has garnered rave reviews for his performances in the Jupiler Pro League, with only Union SG and Anderlecht conceding fewer goals this season (18) than Antwerp’s 21.

With Bayindir perhaps looking to move on at the end of the current season due to a lack of opportunities, it would open up the possibility of Lammens coming to Old Trafford in his place.

This would really increase the pressure on Onana to deliver and, if the necessary consistency is not achieved, could see Lammens quickly establish himself as United’s new No.1.
