Analyst reveals why Rocky Sasaki chose to sign with the Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees to win their eighth World Series title in franchise history.

After winning the championship, the Dodgers came out of the offseason and continued to improve their roster even more, adding several key pitchers.

The Dodgers acquired starting pitcher Blake Snell from the San Francisco Giants, starting pitcher Rocky Sasaki from Japan and relief pitcher Tanner Scott from the San Diego Padres.

Sasaki was reportedly deciding between the Dodgers, Padres and Toronto Blue Jays.

MLB analyst Ken Rosenthal recently revealed the main reason he picked the Dodgers.

“What he said was ‘front office stability,'” Rosenthal said, via Foul Territory .

Sasaki was initially expected to go to the Dodgers, but that was believed to be due to Japanese stars Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Shohei Otani being on the team.

The Dodgers are also a multi-year winning organization that would likely tempt a free agent to pick his first MLB team.

Rosenthal apparently thinks the announcement about the front office is interesting, and many baseball fans probably think the same thing.

Sasaki reportedly has an electric arm and has the potential to become one of the best pitchers in the game.

The Dodgers may choose to use Sasaki sparingly in his first MLB season as he has never pitched more than 130 innings in a season.
