The Los Angeles Dodgers followed up with their eighth World Series title in franchise history by making some huge acquisitions this offseason.
With a roster already loaded with talent, the Dodgers added Cy Young Award-winning starting pitcher Blake Snell, starting pitcher Rocky Sasak and one of the top relief pitchers, Tanner Scott.
The Dodgers have won the National League West title in 11 of the last 12 seasons, and they will likely be in line to win the division again in 2025.
Scott is an acquisition that many had not heard of until the deal was completed, but MLB analyst David Vasegh revealed when the team began pursuing him.

Vasegh revealed that he first heard about the team chasing Scott to return to the Winter Meetings in December, and they finally struck a deal.
Scott signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the Dodgers.
Between the San Diego Padres and Miami Marlins in 2024, Scott appeared in 72 games, posting a 9-6 record with a 1.75 ERA, 22 saves and 84 strikeouts in 72.0 innings.
The Dodgers now have a potential shutout as well as a starting rotation that likely has five number one guys.
Although the Dodgers have eight World Series, they have never won back-to-back titles.
2025 could change that as they are likely to win the title again with the amount of talent they have on their roster.
