The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to struggle even after winning the World Series.
With another strong free agent class, the Dodgers are gearing up for the 2025 season by adding two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell this offseason.
Snell signed a five-year contract worth $182 million, and the Dodgers likely won’t be done there before the season starts.
MLB analyst Harold Reynolds revealed what the next step is for the Dodgers.
“I think they’re going to get a player out,” Reynolds said, via MLB Network.

The Dodgers won their eighth World Series title in franchise history after signing free agent Shohei Ohtani, the leadoff hitter in last year’s class.
Reynolds said they now have to look for an outfielder and Teoscar Hernandez is a free agent looking to move Mookie Betts to second base.
Some of the moves Reynolds mentions are re-signing Hernandez or signing free agent Anthony Santander from the Baltimore Orioles.
Reynolds’ big name is also the headliner of this year’s free agent class, the New York Yankees’ Juan Soto.
If the Dodgers were able to sign Soto, they would be getting one of the best players in their 2024 World Series and would likely be heavily favored to win the title again in 2025.
It will be interesting to see how the Dodgers approach the rest of the offseason and whether or not they make a real run at signing Soto.
