The San Diego Padres were one of the most exciting teams in the 2024 Major League Baseball playoffs.
After finishing the regular season 93-69, the Padres swept the Atlanta Braves in the wild-card round before losing the National League Division Series to the eventual World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Padres took the Dodgers to five games before ultimately losing, but their fan base came out in full force to the team’s home games.
MLB analyst Robert Flores notes that Padres fans are becoming one of the best.
“I think the fan base has become one of the best in all of baseball,” Flores said.

The Padres ensured their fans would be the only ones at their home games by limiting who could buy tickets in certain areas.
The move made MLB news and showed just how dedicated the team is to its fans, and the fans showed their appreciation by fully supporting their hometown team during its postseason run.
While the Padres do not have a World Series title in franchise history, the team appears to be headed in the right direction with three postseason appearances in the last six seasons.
The Padres last appeared in the World Series in 1998, but the team will get another shot in 2025 as they attempt to unseat the Dodgers in the National League West.
Although the Dodgers team looks dominant on paper, the Padres will look to dethrone them in 2025 and win their first NL West title since 2006.
