It is clear that Man United want Ruben Amorim to move to Old Trafford as soon as possible, but a major obstacle threatens to stop the deal.
There was it’s already a turning point in history to bring the Portuguese to Manchester, although he appears to have made that clear to his potential new payers which players he doesn’t want once he takes over at the club.

A major obstacle to the Amorim deal emerges

The new issue that appears to be stalling the deal is that Sporting have demanded an additional £4.1m in compensation on top of the £8.3m they expect to allow Amorim to make the jump to the Premier League giants.

The game against Bodo/Glimt would therefore be his first in charge at Old Trafford, with Everton coming shortly after their first Premier League game at the Theater of Dreams.
