It has been quite stretch for Megha Ganne. Two weeks ago, the growing old man of Stanford won women’s amateur in the US to the bandon Dunes for her first USA title. Now she is again in other The US side, this time in Boston, several hours from where it grew.
On Tuesday she helped relocate her sister to Harvard while also eating local tastes like Rolls Lobster and Osters. She met with the media at TPC Boston on Wednesday, and on Thursday she left in the LPGA Fm championshipa tour in which she took an exception of a sponsor.
Busy? Yes. Exciting? You bet.
“It’s been really fun,” said Ganne, 21, on Wednesday. “I feel like lately recently I left when I had to close for this event. But it was really good. That’s what it is about. You have more golf landing than you do high levels, so I have definitely tried to drive it as long as possible and will continue to ride it even after this week is over.”
Ganne withdrew at 1:43 in the afternoon on Thursday along with Xiaowen Yin and Ina Yoon, and you can catch the action from 3-6 afternoon at Golf Channel. It is the seventh beginning of Ganne’s career in the LPGA and she is looking to make her second cut (and first since she was tied to the 14th in 2021 US Women’s Open).
“Definitely is definitely interesting to play in these events, and I think the innovation I feel when I am at an Lpga Tour event is probably the biggest thing, and getting exposure to another vibe here is the biggest thing I look for,” Ganne said. “We play really high-level amateur events and I have played in the multiple openings of the US, so I feel like I am adjusted at the game level and the field I will see if I do this professionally, but only the things of the week a week are very different here.
“Doing things like playing a pro-am Wednesday, reaching here on Monday, Tuesday, the length of the week. This item is all new. So I think getting exposure to this is really what I look forward to may feel a little more comfortable when I take it next.”
Golf.com sat with Ganne earlier this week to pass others firmQuestion of fast -fired golf, like her hottest golf, the lowest round, the most nervous she has been on the course, the bucket time and more. You can check it below.
