Winning a point can make you a millionaire in Australian Open 2026.
World no. 1 Carlos Alcaraz will participate in AO Million dollars 1 point bump.
Exhibition event pitches 22 in favor of 10 amateurs from all over the country for their ability to get 1 million dollars home.
Here is Australian Open’s description of the event:
It functions as a regular elimination draw, with ‘rock, paper, scissors used to determine who serves or receives. Anyone who wins the point wins the match and progresses the next round, while the point loser is eliminated from the event. The winner of the final match wins $ 1 million.
Qualification will take place throughout Australia and at AO during the opening week with the final played at Rod Laver Arena.

“I can find out today that the world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz will lead the pro-player formation in the Slam Million Dollar 1 Point-an exciting new initiative where a point can earn you $ 1 million,” said Australian director Open Tournament Craig Tily. “Whether you are an amateur or a professional, the last winner will leave the price. Entries will soon be opened in clubs across the country, and during the opening week, the finalists will compete for a chance to cope with Rod Laver Arena.
“With more big names to be announced soon, you now have a million reasons to get a rocket and prepare for January.”
