Jamal Musiala suffered a horrific injury during the departure of the Bayern Munich Club World Cup against Paris Saint-Germain, breaking his leg and dislocating his ankle in a brutal collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The moment was deployed when Donnarumma accused himself to claim a ball in the box, squeezing in the leg planted of Musiala to the whole force. The impact left the players, fans, and commentators frozen in disbelief, while Musiala’s leg climbed under contact.
Seeing from home, Bayern Musiala’s teammate, Alphonso Davies, could barely process what he was seeing.
The Bayern star, recovering from his own ACL injury, went to the Live section for fans during the game. When the time was played, Davies threw his hands on his head in horror.
“Oh my God, no, no!” Shouted. “Please no, no.”
Bayern later confirmed that Musiala fractured its fibula and dislocated the ankle. It is expected to undergo surgery and will be out for a prolonged period.
The club’s sports director, Max Eberl, said that Musiala’s injury “affects FC Bayern”.

“Everyone knows how immensely important Jamal is for our game and what central role has for our team.” he said. “In addition, the human impact is incredibly bitter; we all feel for him. Jamal has just recovered from an injury and will now be out of another long period.”
Eberl added, “He will get everything he needs from us. We will support him intensely and we will be by his side, and we are looking forward to being on the pitch again.”
For Musiala, it is a cruel turn in what should have been a showcase tournament: turning a golden stage into a nightmare in seconds.
