Grand Slam King Djokovic reports that he is ready “100 percent healed” from his left foot muscle tears that forced his retirement from the Australian Open’s semifinal last month.
Now, Gjokovic aims to reach the story in Doha next week, capturing his 100th career championship.
In a new interview with News in the newspaper, Gjokovic gave his mission statement: “I hope my 100th trophy (title) may come to Doha.“
“I have the green light from the medical team to be able to train, to be able to prepare,” Gjokovic told tidings. “The tour in Doha is planned for a week now, so I’m adhering to schedule.
“Thank God, I managed to recover quickly.” I had some other injuries lately than I did in the first 15 years of my career. This probably comes with age, but my body still listens to me, the flame and the desire for new achievements and achievements are still burning in me. “
The 37-year-old Serbian superstar won the Doha titles back-back in 2016 and 2017.
