But this is exactly the scenario Lee finds himself in this weekend at Walmart championship in Arkansas. Just over four months after the birth of her first baby, the 30-year-old is linked to the lead in her third back tour.

When Lee greeted her son Levi Todd Kidd in the world on April 25 And announced the news days later, the 2025 LPGA season was a successor. Lee confirmed just as much at her pre-Turne’s press conference on Thursday.
“Immediately after Linda, if you would tell me I would play in four, five months I would probably say probably no,” Lee said. “I’m really happy to have been able to do it here and play.”
But determined not to take “a little behind” in her game taking a lot of rest time, Lee resumed her pro golf career much faster than she expected.

Lee first returned to the Let’s Aramco Houston championship earlier this month, where she made the cut and finished T53. Her first start of the LPGA since she became Mom came to the championship of Kroger Queen City last week, where she lost her cut.
Even with everything she has passed, Lee admitted that she was not happy with her results so far before this week’s event.
“I feel like I’m a little disappointed where I’m coming in these two weeks,” Lee revealed. “Of course I don’t want to wait too much and give myself grace because I have taken a little time rest and my body has passed a lot. At the same time I want to go out here and play well.”
In the round of Friday’s opening to Pinnacle place clubShe did better than “playing well”. Lee fired a 64-year-old seven-year-old to connect the lead before playing to be suspended due to dangerous weather.
“It feels so good,” Lee said after the opening round. “I mean, getting into these three weeks I feel like I had done as much as I could to prepare, and the last two weeks I felt a little frustrating because I felt like my game was in a really good place. Of course you never know until you paint it … I felt like I was really well.
She added: “I know we have been left for two days, but it is such a good start for me and it is a good feeling to see my hard work pay and see that everything is worth it.”
As for what she has improved to return her course to the course this week, Lee mentioned to better adjust to both return to the tour and be a mother, with an assist by Baby Levi.
“Just trying to adapt to everything and life here. Thankfully, my son is sleeping like eight hours at night, so it helps me a lot in terms of recovery and rest.”
Lee reveals she did not hit the driver up to two months ago
If you thought it was extraordinary that Lee only took four months to return to Pro Golf after her son’s arrival, then you would probably find this other dirt fact.
It turns out that Lee had much less time to put her game into shape as she discovered at her press conference on Thursday.
As her body was healed from an emergency section, Lee was not allowed to start hitting drivers until two months after Levi’s birth. In other words, just two months before she fades her at a pro event.

“So I had to have an emergency C section. They give you about six weeks to try and heal and you have to be really careful with this. But, Gosh, I was itching to get back,” Lee discovered on Thursday. “Right when six weeks rose up, I started shredding, setting up, hitting iron shots. Not really hitting the driver until maybe two months after, like eight or nine weeks. I felt really lucky and as I could heal very quickly. And I did a lot of work.”
She also showed that a strong desire to be with her newborn baby made her return to even more difficult.
“Just as I did my best to try and work as much as I could, go to a ton of walk when I couldn’t work when I was still painful. I practiced a lot,” Lee said. “There were many days where I would hit the balls with radius and just crying, as all the time I am in the range. You have so many different emotions. You have a mother’s fault, you ask yourself when you have a bad practical day. What am I doing here? I can spend time with my son.”
She went on: “And then there are moments when I want to do this so bad. The hardest thing to do is get out of the house. I mean, you are so tired, sleeping deprived and you see a little cute baby there. The last thing I want to do is leave and go do something hard.”
Despite all this, Lee is leading this week’s event, a development that seems to have left it pleased, for now.
“I felt as if it were a challenge in recent months. To be able to sit here and play, though I didn’t play as I wanted in recent weeks, I feel like I did a long way.”
