The 2024 Major League Baseball postseason is down to its final two teams as the New York Yankees take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.
While most people aren’t surprised by two World Series teams, there have been some major upsets this postseason.
The New York Mets had a magical postseason run as they eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers in the wild-card series and the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series.
MLB legend Alex Rodriguez said he thinks the future is bright for the Mets in the upcoming seasons.
“If you’re the Mets and they’re a stock, I’m buying as much as I can right now,” Rodriguez told FOX Sports. Via MLB.

Rodriguez appears to believe in the Mets organization from top to bottom and that they will be a force in the coming seasons.
It was the fifth time the Mets have reached the postseason since 2001, and they have reached the World Series just once in that span (2015).
The Mets didn’t look like they would make the 2024 postseason in June, but managed to turn things around and advance to the NLCS.
Rodriguez likes the Mets’ odds in the coming seasons, with Francisco Lindor playing his best baseball and Mark Vientos cementing his name among the game’s up-and-coming stars.
The Mets will be an interesting team to watch this offseason to see if they make any major moves to try to get over the top and into the World Series in 2025.
