Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner remain in the collision course in Cincinnati Open. Hours after the sinner defeated Adrian Mannarino, the Spaniard overthrew Luca Nardi, Italy 6-1, 6-4 to reach the last eight at the ATP Masters event.

It was a delightful show by Alcaraz, but he presented his game after falling after a break for Nardi in his second set, produced some prominent winners and closed the last four games to score his 51st season victory.
Alcaraz extended his winning belt in the Masters events in the 14th, and remained invincible against the younger players than the tours, at 11-0.
Alcaraz won an eight-works game in 4-4 to place the last nail in Nardi’s casket.
“I think this match was the best so far for me in this tournament,” Alcaraz said in his interview in court. “At the beginning of the tournament, I just wanted to get better every day, after every practice and every match. I think I’m doing it, which I’m really proud of. I’m just happy with the way I felt the ball today and the way I moved.”
The 22-year-old is offering for his sixth ATP title of the season, and his first in Cincinnati. He lost an exciting final to Novak Djokovic at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in 2023, a three-hour and 49-minute match for Djokovic to save a championship point.
