Carlos Alcaraz faces a tough road in Turin in his quest for a first ATP Finals championship.
The draw for the 2025 ATP Finals was made today and places Alcaraz alongside the seven-time champion Novak Djokovic2024 finalist Taylor Fritz and the seventh-seeded Aussie Alex de Minaur in the Jimmy Connors band.
The reigning ATP Finals champion Jannik the Sinnerwho will duel Alcaraz for ranking no. 1 in the world at the end of the year, leads the Bjorn Borg group that contains two-time former champion Alexander Zverevdebutant Ben Shelton and the eighth seed, which shall be either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti.
World No. 9 Musetti needs to claim the title at this week’s Athens Open to overtake Auger-Aliassime and seal eighth and final place in Turin.
