Purple clay strips coloring his socks, a physical sign of Carlos Alcaraz Doing the filthy work to get up in the championship of his daughters Monte-Carlo.
Alcaraz gathered by a group by defeating a hobbled Lorenzo Masetti 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 in Monte Carlo’s final gathering his 18th career championship.
In was Alcaraz’s second impressive return to the tournament.
A volatile alcaraz rose through five straight games by rising in the past 20-year-old Arthur son 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 to reach its first semifinal Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.
The double Alcaraz faced the triple point of rest at the 5th all in the second set before bringing down the script and hunting through nine of the next 10 points to abduct the second set.
Monte-Carlo’s profit taught Alcaraz a valuable lesson: Face the challenges and fear of the head.
Showing Samuel Lopez’s co-coach Mantra: Stay strong when Stress comes, Alcaraz said positivity was paid in the end.
“As my coach said, Samuel said, probably positive attitude is the thing he repeated more this week. Stay strong and stay positive,” Alcaraz the media told Monte-Carlo. “One thing he told me and it was probably the key to this great week was that you have to face the difficulties you have. Facing it, not avoid it.
“I think this changed a lot, because in the matches, you have to face them, not worry about them, not be afraid of them. When you understand and accept it and you face it, everything is going on the right track.
“I think thanks to all the positive things and face those moments, it was a great week.”
Another learned lesson: Alcaraz was good enough to win a Master 1000 even when his level was raised and dumped dramatically during the matches.
Sometimes during the quarterfinals and finals, Alcaraz’s first service went Mia, his precursor also flew into some routine gathering balls and his supremacy for flirting with no mistakes accumulated.
But at highlights, Alcaraz often found the right mixing of ambition and percentage game.
Given that it is his first argila event of the season, he believes it will become sharper as it spends more time in dirt.
The record reinforces that belief: Alcaraz explosives have been 17-1 in clay since May with his only humiliating loss coming to Novak Djoknovic in the Gold Medal in Paris in Roland Garros.
“I just realized that I don’t have to think about everything they talk about and just to focus on myself,” Alcaraz said. “So I will not say I just tried them, they’re wrong, but I’m just happy to be able to focus the important things and just focus on myself and the part I have to follow with my team, with my close people, and just playing myself. So I’m just happy to be able to do it.”
