A week that began with Alcaraz by spraying his left foot ankle in his opening victory over Sebastian Baez ended with the Spanish superstar, lighting it shiny before borrowing a pair of scissors and interrupting the touches by protecting the ankle and celebrating with his team.
“It’s been a pleasure being able to play in Tokyo in front of Japanese fans – I like every second,” Alcaraz said. “I just enjoy every second, which is what I will keep from this tournament.

The depth of Alcaraz drives caused net cleaning issues for Fritz forehand.
