Taylor Fritz knocked down Carlos Alcaraz leading Team World to the 2025 Laver Cup.
The pair could meet in a rematch at the Laver Cup London 2026.
World No. 1 Alcaraz and American no. 1 Fritz have signed for the Laver Cup 2026 group for The O2 in London BY September 25-27, 2026.
In Andre Agassi’s debut as captain, Team World stunned Team Europe 15-9 to capture their third Laver Cup championship in front of the largest crowd in the event’s history in San Francisco. Fritz won the Cup by defeating Alexander Zverev in Sunday’s final in San Francisco.
The 2026 edition marks the return of the Laver Cup to London – the scene of one of the most memorable moments in tennis history. At the O2 in 2022, Roger Federer ended his legendary career and brought the house down in front of a packed London crowd alongside his long-time rivals Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic AND Andy Murray.
Although Team World has won three of the last four Laver Cup titles, Team Europe leads the overall rivalry 5-3.
“Playing at The O2 in London will be amazing,” said Alcaraz. “Having the chance to be in a team with players that I’m normally battling with during the year is really unique and what makes me want to keep playing the Laver Cup every year.
“Hopefully we’ll have the crowd behind us and I’m really motivated to help Team Europe win the Laver Cup.”

A string of Complete tour hospitality packages go on sale today at 10:00 GMT (November 18). Each hospitality package includes the same seat for all five sessions with spectacular views of the pitch combined with access to one of the premium Laver Cup hospitality spaces.
Full tour ticket packages, including the same seat for all five sessions, will go on sale in February 2026 and a variety of multi-session ticket packages, offering the same seat for two or more sessions, will go on sale in April. Single session tickets, securing a seat for a specific session, will go on sale in May. Tickets will be sold via AXS, The O2’s official ticketing partner.
