MAN United will seek to raise funds to make several signings this summer, but a possible method that had been reported in recent days now seems to have been closed.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Real Madrid is interested in signing Alvaro CarrerasBut to avoid paying the expected price of the Benfica of 60 million euros, they wanted Man United to trigger their purchase clause of 18 million euros, with the two clubs that saw an agreement in the region of 30-35 million euros.
It would definitely be a daring tactic of the two clubs, but the odds of passing now have been significantly reduced.

Speaking BallCarreras agent, Ginés Carvajal, has denied that this agreement would happen in the summer, also saying that the Spanish defender plans to remain Benfica for at least one more season.
“I do not know where this news comes from. All that is said is a pure fantasy and, as such, it does not deserve, on my part, no comment. Carreras goes well in Benfica and will continue there.”
Man United had been linked to the signature of Carreras by themselves, but the arrival of January of Patrick Dorgu means that an agreement is unlikely to spend the summer. They would have welcomed the profit that would have been sold by the 22 -year -old at Real Madrid, but this strange operation seems to have been stopped on their slopes before it even began.
It remains to see what the United business can do this summer with the money they have at their disposal. There is no doubt that sales will need, but the fundraising will be easier to say than to do it.
