After debacle of Dubois, Paul Smith calls on Anthony Joshua to dump Ben Davison and look for a new team, and criticize ‘Roll the Dice’ strategy

Pundit Paul Smith says former two -time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua should shower coach Ben Davison and find a whole new team around him to help stop his career.

Paul does not like the corner advice that Davison Joshua (28-4, 25 COs) gave to enter the fifth round of his fight against IBF champion Daniel Dubois on September 21 last year at Wembley Stadium.

“Roll The Dice” backlash

Davison told AJ foolishly ‘Roll the dice’ and go break instead of making him play safely to expand Daniel. Joshua has been dropped in battle three times and put down in the first, third and fourth rounds. It was Noot for Ben to see AJ Bum chasing a fresh dubois in fifth place to what he went through in the four previous rounds.

Joshua replaced Rob McCracken If his coach after his first loss of Oleksandr utility in 2021, a 12-round decision. The loss was small things compared to the slaughter we saw last September Joshua is looted by dubois, and left in a stack on the canvas.

It makes sense for AJ to fire Davison after a much worse defeat, with his career on a thread. Joshua cannot afford another loss due to bad coaching advice.

“What I saw at Dubois was bad advice from the corner. Ben Davison is a good coach. He takes the credit. He admitted that the cornerwork was bad,” Paul Smith said Talksport BoxingTalk about Anthony Joshua’s corner advice in his fifth round loss of IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois on September 21.

‘To tell Joshua to go for it when Dubois was still very alive. He told him to roll the dice when he had been dropped three times. “

“It’s just recovered. He gets himself back a little, “Spencer Oliver says about Joshua.

‘Just bull s *** yourself through the fight in the next two or three rounds. Let Dubois take himself out because he is fighting on nerves is dubois. Then you have a better chance. I think he has to change his team and get a good coach around him, “Smith says of AJ.
