of The adidas ZX line is one of those icons that never gets the love it deserves. It first fell in the 1980s and has been revived several times since then. Shoes like the ZX 8000 were popular in 1988, and they are still popular today.
Heck, if you saw the numbers ZX Flux did in Utah high school halls, you’d be amazed.
So when adidas decided to drop a retro version of the ZX 8000 for winter golf, I couldn’t help but feel a little nostalgic. The problem? They really didn’t tell anyone.

So the ZX 8000 is back and ready for golf. It has GORE-TEX waterproofing and the famous TORSION tape to keep you stable. Oh, and cushion-age-appropriate updates like BOOST. All wrapped in a seasonal brown synthetic suede.
