In front of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, Adidas has presented a new campaign film that celebrates the role of competition as a catalyst for growth, showing how support and rivalry can coexist at all levels of women’s game.
The short film is the last installment to Adidas’ Global “You have this” Campaign, which promotes positivity, support and resilience in sport.
This time, The Spotlight is found in women’s game elite players, including Aitana Bonmatí, Alessia Russo, Jule Brand, Kadidiatou Diai, Lia Wälti and Stina Blackstenius.
The video passes the traditional idea of rivalry in the head, suggesting that mutual respect among opponents can help unlock new levels of performance. One of the most prominent dynamics is between Russo and Bonmatí: rivals on the international stage that use the excellence of the other to raise their own game.
“For us as professionals, competition is enormous in everything we do and, personally, it is a constant source of learning,” Russo said in a statement.
“I consider myself lucky to be surrounded by the best in the world every day while playing my club and my country. My colleagues and colleagues are a constant memory that my game is not yet complete, and this would not be possible without competition.”
