Absolute Annihilation: Norman jr. Sasaki destroyed in the slaughter of Tokyo

WBO World Welterweight Champion Brian Norman jr. (28-0, 22) scored three knockouts on Thursday night in a fifth round of Jin Sasaki (19-2-1, 17 COs) in the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. The Sasaki, which was severely injured, was subsequently exported from the ring. The time of the stop was 0:46 seconds of the fifth round of a scheduled 12 rounds.

In the first round, within seconds, a left hook to the chin of Norman Sasaki dropped for an 8 scores by referee Gustavo Tomas. Halfway, Norman ended up on the chin, and Sasaki went a second time for an 8 scores by referee Tomas.

In the third round, Norman continued to drive Sasaki around the ring. In the fourth round, Norman ended up a right to the chin. Sasaki fought back well, with Norman against the ropes at the end of the round, in a close round. In the fifth round, an evil left hand of Norman has on the chin, and down Sasaki, cold, on his back. Sasaki was on the canvas for a few minutes before he got up on a stretcher and exported from the ring.

Southpaw No. 1 Contender Cristian ‘The Bomb’ Araneta (25-3, 20 food) lost a 12-round decision to #3-Rankings OPBF Light Flyweight Champion Thanongsak Simsri (39-1, 34 food) by a 12-round decision for the vacant IBF World Light Flyweight title.

In the final of the third round thirty seconds, Araneta slipped a punch and landed an upper hand to the chin and dropped him for an 8 counts of referee Nokamora, while Simri’s knee hit the canvas and came right. Simri cut over the right eyebrow in an all-action round earlier.

In the sixth round, Araneta has been cut on the left eyebrow and Simsri on the right eyebrow since the third round. In the seventh round, Simsri had a good round that counteracted the Southpaw Araneta.

In the tenth round, the cut of Araneta flowed along the side of his face. In the eleventh round it was all Araneta, mainly to the body. In the twelfth and final round, it was all Araneta with Simsri who eventually landed several blows in the last minute of a close struggle.

Sora Tanaka (4-0, 1 KO) stopped Southpaw Takeru Kobata (14-8-1, 8) at 2:01 of the fourth round of a scheduled 12 rounds for the vacant OPBF-Welterwewe title.

In the first round, the action was furious. Tanaka supported Kobata for the last minute of the round in a corner. In the second round, at the end, Kobata blew out of the mouth and nose. In the third round, the action did not delay any fighter.

In the fourth round, Tanaka landed a flurry of bumps and forced referee Takaru Okan to stop.

Yuya Oku (8-1-2, 5 food) lost to Southpaw Riiya Abe (27-4-2, 10 cost) by a 10-round Unanimouus decision for the vacant Japan spring weight.

In the first five rounds, Abe had a lead. From the sixth to the tithing it was oku. Abe’s left eyebrow swollen badly at the end.

The scores were 96-94, 96-94 and 98-92.

Featherweight Southpaw Ren Ohashi (4-0, 4 food) knocked Guangheng Luan (13-9-2, 9 COs) at 2:23 of the fifth round of a scheduled eight rounds. Koji Tonaka was the referee.

Super-middleweight Yuito Moriwaki (1-0) defeated ha so baek (3-2, 2 food) with a unanimous eight round decision.

The scores were 79-72, 78-73 and 77-74. Toshio Sugiyama was the referee.

Lightweight Seiya Yamaguchi (4-1, 2 costs) beat Ryosuke Kiuchi (3-4-1, 2 food) through a unanimous four-round decision.

The scores were 40-36, 39-36 and 39-36. Shuhai Tarayama was the referee.
