Aaron Judge sent a message to fans after winning the MVP award

The New York Yankees returned to the postseason in 2024, finishing 94-68 and winning the American League East.

After making their first World Series postseason run since winning the championship in 2009, the Yankees fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

While the Yankees couldn’t get the job done, they added some key pieces this offseason in an attempt to make another run in 2025.

Along with these offseason acquisitions, the Yankees will have American League MVP Aaron Judge leading the way next season.

Judge had a message for Yankees fans after winning the AL MVP award.

“Your energy and passion for the fans fuels me every day. Your support drives me to be the best version of myself and it’s a privilege to represent the greatest city in the world,” Judge said via Foul Territory on “X.”

Judge won his second AL MVP award in the last three seasons in 2024, including career highs in RBIs, walks and OPS.

In 2024, Judge played in 158 games with a .322 batting average, 10.8 WAR, 58 home runs, 144 RBI and a 1.159 OPS.

Judge continued to dominate the regular season, but seemed to fall apart again in the postseason.

In 14 games played in the playoffs, Judge batted .184 with three home runs, nine RBIs and a .752 OPS.

With star outfielder Juan Soto leaving to join the New York Mets, Judge will need to perform in the postseason if the Yankees are to win a World Series title in 2025.
