Aaron Judge reveals his Mount Rushmore of Yankee greats

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 24: Aaron Judge #99 of the New York Yankees speaks to the media during a day of training ahead of Game 1 of the 2024 World Series on October 24, 2024 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

The New York Yankees have had many great players in their franchise history.

Current Yankee greats include Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Giancarlo Stanton and Gerrit Cole.

With all the great names in their history, it is impossible to list the four greatest names.

Judge recently revealed who his four players on the Yankees’ mound will be.

“Yogi Berra, 10-time world champion. Mickey Mantle, MVP is what he did every year in center field. Babe Ruth, obviously. (Derek) Jeter, captain,” Judge said via the B/R Walk-Off.

The list of great Yankees players is seemingly endless, but Judge was able to narrow it down to what he thinks are four of the best.

Judge entered the league in 2016 and has played all nine of his MLB seasons for them.

He, too, seems already cemented as one of the Yankees’ all-time greats, but he’s still searching for his first World Series title.

Judge mentioned Berra’s 10 World Series titles, and one would think that Judge would like to get a few rings before putting himself on the Mount Rushmore list.

Although Dutt dominated the regular season, the postseason is a different story as he has a .203 average with 15 home runs and 31 RBI in 53 playoff games.

Judge failed to hit a home run in the American League Division Series win against the Kansas City Royals, then hit two in the American League Championship Series, and now he’ll be looking for his first World Series home run in Game 1 against the Los. Angeles Dodgers.
