The New York Yankees won the American League East for the second time in three years after finishing 94-68.
After winning the division, the Yankees made a postseason run to the World Series, their first appearance since 2009.
The Yankees announced that manager Aaron Boone will return for the 2025 season, but they are still waiting to see if superstar free agent Juan Soto will return to the team.
While Boone waits to see if one of baseball’s greatest players will return to the Yankees next season, he spent this Sunday playing another sport.
Boone was seen attending the Philidelphia Eagles game on Sunday, according to John Clarke at the X.

Boone has been an MLB manager since 2018 and has managed the Yankees in all seven seasons of his managerial career.
While Boone likely has a high stress level waiting for Soto’s draw, he was seen attending the Eagles game on Sunday.
Boone has previously said he’s lost sleep over Soto free agency, but will likely get an answer from Soto this week about where he’ll play in 2025.
The Yankees have the most titles in MLB with 27, but they fell short of their 28th title in 2024 after losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Boone will certainly have Aaron Judge in 2024, but he’s likely anxious waiting for Soto’s decision.
The Yankees will try to win their second consecutive AL East title for the first time since the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
