The Los Angeles Dodgers won the eighth World Series title in franchise history by defeating the New York Yankees in five games.
After an intense and dramatic victory in World Series One, the Dodgers continued their timely hitting to comfortably win the series over the Yankees.
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman led the offense and won the World Series Most Valuable Player award.
Freeman started the World Series with a hit in Game 1, as he hit a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning to lead the Dodgers to victory.
The ball that Freeman hit for his Grand Slam was recently auctioned for a ridiculous price.
Freeman’s World Series baseball grand slam sold for $1.56 million at auction, according to Foul Territory on ‘X’.

Some lucky person will own a piece of Dodgers history after purchasing a baseball for $1.56 million.
Freeman had an impressive run in the postseason, with his best streak coming just in time during the World Series.
In 13 games during the playoffs, Freeman batted .250 with four home runs, 13 RBIs and an .810 OPS.
All four of Freeman’s home runs came in the World Series, and he was rightfully named World Series MVP.
The Dodgers aren’t happy with their 2024 World Series title.
They are making more moves this offseason to successfully defend their title next season.
If the Dodgers can win back-to-back titles, it will be the first time in franchise history that a team has done so.
