These new limited edition 4th of July Putter Grips are a little Rock ‘N’ Roll, a little Country

It says nothing Happy 250th Birthday, America all like a red, white and blue glove.

Well, sort of.

In the spirit of our nation’s sesquicentennial, both the Golf Pride and SuperStroke will be released with limited edition red, white and blue themed putter grips.

Which one is right for you? Depends if you like rock ‘n’ roll or country.

Red-White-Blue and Tie-Dye SuperStroke Grip

This is perfect for the patriotic Grateful Dead fan in your life.

SuperStroke is always on point with his limited edition gloves and this is no different. It features a very Grateful Dead-ish red, white and blue tie-dye design that SuperStroke says is “timeless and contemporary. It’s national pride with a ‘Truckin’ catchphrase thrown in for good measure.”

Not only does this control celebrate the fourthth of July, but it is also related to the 61ststr the anniversary of the debut of The Warlocks (the original name of The Dead) and the 31ststr anniversary of the Dead’s last concert with Jerry which happened on the 4thth of the July 1995 weekend at Soldier Field in Chicago. The surviving members reunited 20 years later at Soldier Field, also on the 4thth of the July weekend.

I seriously hope SuperStroke knew all of this when they planned this release. I’m not sure if they did, but I really want it to be true.

(Folks, you can scour the world wide web, but this kind of golf-adjacent Grateful Dead content can only be found here at MyGolfSpy. You’re welcome.)

The SuperStroke Red, White and Blue Tie-Dye Zenergy cleats go on sale June 29 at the SuperStroke website. They will be available in Pistol 2.0 and Tour 2.0 models and will retail for $39.99.

Golf Pride Limited Edition Stars and Stripes Zero Taper Grips

If deadlifts aren’t your cup of scarlet begonia, you might like the more traditionally patriotic Stars and Stripes Zero Taper putter from Golf Pride.

Wouldn’t call it rock ‘n’ roll, but if you want to celebrate the fourthth and 250th with your shooting grip this will work quite well. And if you’re after the festivities, Golf Pride says the catch also honors her 77thth the year of american craftsmanship and design.

The red, white and blue colorway features waving American flag artwork and large American lettering. Golf Pride introduced the Zero Taper grip in February and the Stars and Stripes model is the first limited edition grip in that franchise.

It’s on sale now at www.GolfPride.com. Also on sale for $39.99.
