Riding his Aprilia Racing RS-GP26 on special Michelin tyres, the championship points leader led the 23-rider field in MotoGP World Championship practice at the TT Assen circuit in the Netherlands on Friday afternoon.
Raúl Fernández was the best remaining in his Superfile Trackhouse Team Aprilia RS-GP26 with a 1:31.300.
Pedro Acosta was third in 1:31.310 on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing RC16.
Fernandez’s team-mate Ai Ogura finished fourth in the session with a time of 1:31.362.
Francesco Bagnaia led the Lenovo Team Ducati Desmosedici GP26, finishing fifth with a lap time of 1:31.384.
