Marc Marquez admitted he ‘suffered’ at the end of the Czech Grand Prix – but no Ogura was enough to beat him.

Speaking immediately after the race at Parc Ferme, Marquez said it was ‘special’ to win the clockwise circuit like Bruno.
This race was considered more of a litmus test for Marx’s fitness than the slower technical layout at Balaton Park.

Six weeks after two surgeries and missing the French GP, Marquez was physically ’empty’ in the closing stages of the race, but Ogura knew he was in control.
“A very important victory in the right-wing district,” he said. “I want something special, you know I won’t give up.
I suffered a lot in the last laps. The bike was there, but I was empty, I tried to keep up the pace, I saw Ogura advancing, but not enough to catch me.
“It was the longest six laps of the year – I’m not talking about my career! I’m really happy to cross the line in first place.”
Marquez is set to test the Ducati 2027 bike behind closed doors on Monday ahead of the second leg of the back-to-back at Assen next weekend. There is no break in the program for the 33-year-old.
