Hodgson Marquez didn’t expect to reach his 100th win, believing his current injury would end his career.

He said. TNT Sports 2: “I didn’t think he was there after the accident and the confusion after the start of the season and he was like, ‘No, I’m fine, I’m just trying to fix it and build myself up over the weekend.’

“He seemed slow, confused. We knew something was wrong, and I thought that was it. I thought he might never make it to 100. I thought he would be stuck at 99.”
