Pakistan take a solid lead in the first innings
Despite the collapse, England’s batting was not without bright moments. It was the highlight of their batting effort Ben Duckett‘s brilliant knock of 114 off 129 balls, which included 16 fours.
After being bowled out for 366 in their first innings, Pakistan took a significant 75-run lead over England. While England went into this match confident after their first Test win, Pakistan’s bowlers, especially Sajid, ensured that the visitors could not capitalize on their early momentum. With a cushion of 75 runs, Pakistan will now look to pile on the runs in their second innings and set England a tough target to chase down.
