A few months ago I was on a shoot at Callaway with Dalton Joyce and after the shoot one day we all went out to dinner. What was next to our dinner place? A PGA Tour Superstore. Dalton, being a PGATSS Ambassador wanted to come in to check things out and Roger Steele (also a PGATSS Ambassador) paid a little visit as well.
As we were walking around looking at things neither of us needed to buy, Dalton made a comment to me that his favorite Travis Mathew Cloud Crew shirt was. I had seen him wearing these black shirts in many of his videos, and I thought “Dalton is just a shirt”. But as he led me to the rack of Cloud Crew shirts in multiple colors and sizes, it only took one touch for me to fall in love.

The shirts are extremely soft and are super light. This makes them great for a casual shirt, but they also hold up really well with exercise. I can’t comment on being in the gym with them, but Dalton makes them look great, and I’ve worn the shirts through enough sweats that I can promise they’ll hold up. I’ve recently started having fun with little shirts on the podcast. The one in the featured image is a bit of a nod to Dalton and “No one cares, work harder.” catchphrases, and I’ve also made some silly gear shirts including “Just Add Hot Melt” and “2 Clicks Lower”. I even wore Johnny Wunder.
The other thing about the shirts is that they wash very well. I’m the first person to completely ignore laundry care suggestions, but so far so good. The tees have not shrunk, bunched or suffered any other type of damage. The downside I will say is that the collars aren’t super structured so it’s best to make sure you hang or fold them right out of the dryer so they stay nice and crisp.
Did I think I would find my favorite shirt at the PGA Tour Superstore? Absolutely not. But I did, and I think you can too. The Cloud Crew Tee is available in 6 different colors and multiple sizes. In my experience they run true to size!
