DL winner Jamal Britt remains number one as well at the 8th Irena Shewinska Memorial (WACT Gold) with a 13.10 (+0.7) 110m hurdles ahead of Cuba’s Kendry Menendez 13.14 PB (13.0 in heats). Home star and Olympic medalist Natalya Bukovecka opened with a 50.12 win in the 400m ahead of Emi Mary John in 50.36. Jonas Fijfers won the 400m in 45.04, Britain’s Ben Pattison in the 800m in 1:45.58 and Croatian surprise 1500m specialist Marino Bludek in 3:38.52 PB. Alastair Chalmers beat Ismail Nezir in the 400m hurdles 49.01 48.71. The top five finished 572nd in the pole vault with Menno Vlun taking first ahead of Piotr Lisek who tied for 2nd with Pedro Buaro (NR) followed by Ben Broders and Chris Nielsen. World indoor medalist Eric Portillo cleared 224 in the high jump and South Africa’s Daw Smith threw the javelin 84.57 PB. In the women’s 100m hurdles, Luka Kozak clocked a 12.66 NR (-0.2) to beat Pia Skrzyszowska (12.67) and Alaisha Johnson (12.75; 12.68 in heats). Fatumata Diallo recorded a speed of 55.27 in the 400m hurdles. Claudia Kazimerska’s blistering finish of 3:59.99 in the 1500m, clearly ahead of Erin Wallace’s 4:04.01. The 800m race saw collisions and victory for Valentina Rosamilia in 2:00.72. Rio Olympic champion Sara Kolak won the javelin with a throw of 61.42. National 100 m: Dominik Kopets 10.08 (+0.5).
