Separate training time for the 3rd round
More than three years have passed Like Woo Kim earned his fourth career PGA Tour victory at the 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii, but the 30-year-old South Korean is in prime position to make a run for a fifth Tour title this weekend in Texas.
After shooting rounds of 64-60 (-18), Kim holds a five-shot lead over a sizeable T2 crowd that includes Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Sungjae Im, Kensei Hirata and Jackson Suber, who are all 13 under.
Kim, Im and Hirata will play in the final bracket at 12:45 pm ET.
