Delhi Capitals can only reach a maximum of 14 points and hence will be behind Punjab if PBKS win the final game. - Kolkata Knight Riders need to lose at least one of their remaining two matches. If KKR win both the matches, they will also finish with 15 points and tie NRR.
- Sunrisers Hyderabad need to lose both their remaining games to stay below Punjab’s potential score.
With so many conditions attached, Punjab Kings now face an anxious wait. Their playoff hopes are still alive, but only just.
