I am a professional shoe tester. Here are my 3 favorite golf shoes of 2026 (so far)

We’ve gotten to the point in the year where I’ve tried on enough golf shoes that some pairs start making their way out of the trunk and onto my feet more often than others.

And as someone who has tried more than 150 pairs of golf shoes and has about 75 in rotation, a golf shoe with lasting power is hard to come by.

There is no set limit to how many couples make my list each year. Sometimes, there are two, sometimes there are five. For this year, there are three pairs of shoes I find myself constantly reaching for.

Keep in mind that this is exactly what it sounds like: a personal list of my current favorites from this year. In this way, it is very different from what we produce with our most wanted golf shoe test, which removes all personal preferences and biases from the equation.

Think of it as Connor’s favorites, not MyGolfSpy’s.

With that out of the way, let’s dive into the three pairings I keep coming back to so far this year.

This is by far my favorite golf shoe of the year. It’s everything I want in a golf shoe: comfortable, good traction, and looks more like something you’d see on the fairway than on the links.

NIKE finally did what I’ve been begging them to do: take years of shoe innovation and expertise and package it into a good golf shoe. I can’t stop wearing them.

Even if this pink color is a little disgusting, my love for this shoe is not.

The best shoes Adidas has produced all year are the ones they haven’t even sold or talked about. of S2G LTD is a new budget-friendly version of the popular S2G model.

This one comes complete with a monochrome leather upper and, piece de resistance, a full-length BOOST midsole.

Damn, these feel (and look) great.

This is a bit of a sleeper and has gone largely unnoticed this year. But after years of people begging for a spiked one AJ1those pesky SOBs finally did it, and it’s glorious.

Not only because they added studs, but they changed the entire midsole and added a ton more cushioning to the heel of the shoe.

The translation? More traction AND more comfort than the studless pair. Yes, these end up on my feet a lot.

Have your say

What are your favorite golf shoes for 2026? Which pair do you find yourself reaching for more often than not?
