of 2026 PGA Championship starts on Thursday at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa., where the best players in the world will compete for the Wanamaker Trophy. The tournament takes place Thursday, May 14 to Sunday, May 17with coverage available across ESPN, CBS, ESPN+ AND Paramount+.
This year’s PGA is particularly interesting. Aronimink is hosting the championship for the first time since 1962, when Gary Player won the event. Rory McIlroy enters after winning the 2026 Masters and will be chasing his third PGA Championship title, while defending champion Scottie Scheffler arrives as the No. 1 in the World after winning last year at Quail Hollow. Jordan Spieth is chasing another career Grand Slam.

How to watch the 2026 PGA Championship on TV
ESPN and CBS will handle television coverage of the 2026 PGA Championship. ESPN will carry the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, along with coverage of the opening weekend. CBS takes over the weekend primetime broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday.
