Fitzpatrick Brothers WITB (2026): Matt vs Alex Golf Bag Comparison

Matt Fitzpatrick Pro Tour is established. Big winner, proven setup and a bag built on years of trust.

Alex Fitzpatrick is starting to find his way, and if his recent results are any indication, we’ll be seeing a lot more of him.

What’s interesting is how different their configurations already are.

One is built on long-term familiarity and trust. The other relies on agility and more modern adaptation trends.

Matt Fitzpatrick WITB (2026)

Matt Fitzpatrick’s bag tells you exactly how he wants to play. There is very little movement, very little experimentation and almost no sign of change just for the sake of something new.

At the top of the bag, it keeps things stable. The orange Mitsubishi Tensei shaft profile cuts through the driver woods and fairway, which helps keep launch and spin predictable from club to club. He still has the Titleist GT3, the driver with the most wins on the Tour in 2026.

He maintains a separate group of PING i210 cuff AND PING S55. These are clubs he believes in; they are not the latest releases.

Matt Fitzpatrick finishes things off with a traditional Bettinardi BB1 Fitz and Titleist pen Pro V1x golf ball.

On the footwear side, Fitzpatrick has been with Skechers since 2022 and typically wears models from the GO GOLF Blade line.

Taking food: This is a first control bag built on recognition. Nothing here is changing unless necessary.

Alex Fitzpatrick’s setup feels more in line with where Tour gear is trending. There is a clear emphasis on agility, especially when it comes to approach shots.

The biggest difference appears in fairway forests. Carrying a 3-wood, 7-wood and 9-wood gives him multiple launch windows and more stopping power on the greens. That 9-wood, in particular, has become more common in tournamentsand it’s a clear sign that this bag is built to attack.

His cuffs are also more current, using Titleist T100 cuff. They are one of the most played models on Tour and offer a pure blend of control and durability.

On the green, he goes in a different direction than Matt me Odyssey Ai-One #7 S. Like his brother, he plays Titleist Pro V1x Golf Ball.

He has been in NIKE apparel and footwear since he turned pro, including here Pegasus line.

Taking food: This is a more flexible setup with more built-in options, especially for long shots to the green.

Final thoughts

It’s not about one configuration being better than the other.

If anything, it’s a reminder that there’s no single blueprint for building a golf bag, even at the highest level. Even between brothers.
