The 2026 PGA Championship goes down Thursday-Sunday, May 14-17, at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania, where the best golfers will battle it out for the second major title of the year. PGA Championship Preview

This year’s PGA Championship returns to historic Aronimink for the second time. But it is the first time in more than 60 years. Gary Player was the last man standing at the 1962 PGA, and a long list of big-name players are hoping to join Player as an Aronimink PGA Champion this week.

The first player to mention is the only one who already has a 2026 major title: Rory McIlroy. The World No. 2 is vying for his third PGA victory and seventh major title this week following his victory at the 2026 Masters in April.

But Scottie Scheffler should give him a run for his money. Scheffler is not only the world No. 1, but also the reigning champion, having won his first PGA title last year at Quail Hollow. He finished second to McIlroy in his bid for a third green jacket at Augusta, so Scheffler will surely be hoping to flip the script this week.

Jordan Spieth will play again for history. With a win this week, he would capture the career Grand Slam.

And don’t forget about the hottest players of the last few weeks, including Cameron Young and brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick. Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau leads an 11-player contingent from the embattled LIV Golf Tour into the PGA field.

PGA 2026 TV Channels and Streaming Providers

ESPN and CBS will provide television coverage of the 2026 PGA Championship. ESPN will televise telecasts of the first and second rounds on Thursday and Friday, as well as weekend morning coverage. On Saturday and Sunday, CBS will take over the televised coverage to air the heart of the third and final round.
