Marc Marquez update: More surgery, #93 Don’t miss the Catalan GP. Marquez will not take part in Sunday’s GP and will miss Barcelona after the incident in the Sprint in France.
Ducati Lenovo team’s Marc Marquez has confirmed he will undergo another operation on the right shoulder he injured in last season’s Indonesian GP. This comes after he was also declared ineligible for the French Grand Prix following his leg sprint accident.
The #93 revealed that he was scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery following the Catalan GP, but surgery will be brought forward after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in Saturday’s sprint crash.
The world champion will now focus at least on Sunday’s action at the French GP and next week’s event on the recovery of his leg and shoulder.
