Moto2: Guevara broke the record at Le Mans


Izan Guevara led Moto2 World Championship Free Practice Two (FP2) on Saturday morning at Le Mans, France. The Spaniard used the Pirelli-shod BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Boscoscuro to cover the 2.6-mile (4.19 km) course in 1:33.931, leading 28 riders and breaking Manuel Gonzalez’s all-time lap record of 1:34.315 from 2025.

Barry Baltes was best in the remaining 1:34.268 on the REDS Fantic Racing Kalex.

Philippe Salac was third fastest in 1:34.425 in the sole Fan American Racing Team Calex.

American Joe Roberts and his teammate Salak finished seventh in Saturday morning’s practice with a best time of 1:34.582.
