How to watch the Zurich Classic on Thursday
If a professional has already won two PGA Tour events from the end of April, like Matt Fitzpatrick has done this year, you wouldn’t usually see that at a tournament like the Zurich Classic team event. But Fitzpatrick is bucking that trend this week, and for good reason.
Newly created two-time RBC Heritage champion is adjusting together with his younger brother Alex in Zurich. The brothers played together in Zurich last year as well, but the circumstances this year are very different.
In addition to Matt’s two wins, Alex also earned his first DP World Tour victory of the season. So the pair are hot heading into Thursday’s opening round. And if they won, Alex probably wouldn’t be playing on the DP World Tour anymore. This is because he will earn a two-year exemption from the PGA Tour if he and Matt are victorious this week.
We’ll get to see if the Fitzpatrick brothers can improve on their MC last year on Thursday afternoon when they tip off at 1:29pm ET.
