While Gaikwad’s athleticism injected fresh energy into the CSK unit, Bash, who appeared in ominous contact, had to leave after a quick cameo.

SRH post a competitive total after a strong batting display

Despite losing momentum after the skipper’s dismissal, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to post a competitive total of 194/9 in 20 overs. The base was laid by the explosive Abhishek and he played some breathtaking shots. Abhishek smashed a 15-ball half-century and scored 59 off just 22 deliveries, smashing six fours and four powerful sixes. His fearless batting ensured SRH scored high during the power play.

Heinrich Klaasen He scored 59 runs off 39 balls and further stabilized the innings with a decisive knock. The former South African star mixed aggression with composure to guide SRH to a strong finish despite losing wickets regularly in the second half.
CSK bowlers struggle after early attack

Chennai Super Kings bowlers showed resilience after early hammering. Jamie Overton once again impressed with his goalkeeping skills. Although a bit expensive, conceding 37 runs in four overs, he took three crucial wickets to keep CSK in the race.
