Bayern Munich are not believed to be interested in one to move for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
Alisson’s long-term future at Anfield has been questioned numerous times over the past 12 months, with Liverpool making plans for his eventual exit by signing Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia earlier this year.
Although Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in Alisson, rumors have suggested Bayern could move for the Brazil international as he prepares for life without the timeless Manuel Neuer, who turns 39 next year.
Florian PlettenbergHowever, he has dismissed suggestions Bayern could try to lure Alisson from Liverpool, insisting the Reds stopper is simply not part of their plans.
Instead, Bayern are unwilling to end their partnership with Neuer and want to hand the veteran goalkeeper a new 12-month deal to see him transfer until 2026.
There are still plans for Alexander Nubel to eventually succeed Neuer in goal at Bayern. The 28-year-old spent last season on loan with Stuttgart and sealed a return to the Bundesliga this summer on a two-year loan.
Nubel will return to Bayern in 2026, at which point the plan is for Neuer to succeed him.
Alisson, meanwhile, remains under contract Liverpool until 2027, with Mamardashvili set to offer competition for his starting spot next summer.
