What stood out to me in our 2026 testing was not just which drivers performed well at slower spin speeds, but which of those improved because of her.
These five clearly did better when the swing speed dropped. If you’re not moving as fast as you used to (or never have), these are drivers worth taking a closer look at.

In the slow swing speed test, it was the most accurate driver in the test with an accuracy score of 9.8. Forgiveness was also strong in 9.4. Unless you’re chasing low spin or trying to squeeze in a few extra yards, ZXi Max it should help you keep the ball in play.
of Driver LA GOLF was already one of the most accurate drivers in the main test. Posted one Accuracy score 9.3but the distance (8.2) kept him from the top of the leaderboard.
Then the swing speed dropped and everything came together.
- In general: 8.8 → 9.4 (No. 1 for slow movement speeds)
- Accuracy: 9.3 → 9.6
- Distance: 8.2 → 9.1
It’s still not the longest test driver, but it doesn’t have to be. What you get instead is a driver that stays in the game and doesn’t give up nearly as much distance as in the full-speed test.
