DC coach Hemang Badani shares his grief after Miller’s loss against GT
The emotional weight of the loss followed Miller into the locker room. While social media debated Miller’s decision to concede a single to Kuldeep earlier, the Delhi Capitals camp stood firmly behind the finisher. A video released by the franchise showed the raw, human side of the sport, with Miller visibly struggling to get through the final two deliveries.
The images were taken by the DC head coach Breathe Dancers to go to the dejected Miller, to offer a long solace and safe shelter behind him. Badani’s gesture underscored the in-house support system in D.C. and underscored that the result hasn’t dampened Miller’s grit, especially considering he returned to the crease after a brief retirement to treat a finger injury.
