Kings of Punjab (PBKS) won a stunning five-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) In the 7th match Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 MA successfully chased down a daunting target of 210 off eight balls at the Chidambaram Stadium. He scored 39 runs off just 11 balls, including four sixes, setting the tone for the powerplay start. Prabhsimran Singh then steadied the shootout with a well-crafted 43-34, ensuring PBKS didn’t lose momentum after an early burst.
Cooper Connolly Value added runs at 36 off 22 deliveries keeping the required pace in check. The chase was then conducted under the leadership of Capt Shreyas Iyer50 off 29 balls but an aggressive hitter. His innings of four boundaries and three sixes proved the backbone of the chase.
Although CSK managed to pick up wickets at intervals Matt Henry and Anshul CambodiaPBKS never allows the pressure to build up. Delayed cameras Shashank Singh (14 off 6) and Marcus Stoinis (3 of 9) saw the visitors comfortably cross the finish line with 18.4 overs.
